Sara Thornhurst Chart.PR

Sara Thornhurst is the Communication and Impact manager at the Centre for Assuring Autonomy.

A Chartered PR Professional, she worked in agency PR for most of her career, eventually running her own agency specialising in working with start up and spin out companies in sectors including renewable energy and robotics.

She has been a visiting lecturer in Digital Marketing and has a special interest in EDI within the PR sector, speaking at industry events and running EDI training for PR professionals. She is an active member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations and has volunteered across both their regional and sectoral committees, holding both Vice Chair and Chair roles.

As content manager and editor for SCAIL, Sara is keen to hear from healthcare professionals with interesting stories, case studies, and new research on the use of AI tools in healthcare.
